It was a pleasure to order from Craig’s Cake Shop. We had a specific texture and size that we wanted the cake to be so that once I added roses and grapes it would look like something straight out of the Hobbit Birthday Party from the “Lord of the Rings” Movie. The cake kept well in the freezer for 2 weeks and looked perfect for our Hobbit party! Everyone was raving about how delicious it was too!
We got a cake, two flavors of cupcakes, and a (complimentary!!) smash cake for my daughter's first birthday. Everything was BEAUTIFUL, and delicious! Several people at the party asked us to send them the info for where we got the cake, so we're confident that the guests also loved everything! I'm also pretty sure at least 75% of the adults wouldn't let us cut the cake until they got pictures of it. We're absolutely going to be going back regularly for a fun little sweet treat throughout the year and we'll definitely be back for birthday parties. Communication was wonderful- fast, friendly, and clear. I did have my in-laws pick up so I can't speak to how the pick up process went, but they didn't have any complaints so I assume everything went smoothly. My birthday is next in the lineup, so Craig's Cakes I hope you're ready for another order ❤️❤️
We ordered cupcakes for my daughter's graduation party. We decided to do a handful decorative, and a handful standard decorations. The decorative ones are GORGEOUS they turned out so beautiful. And the "standard" decorations they made so pretty that they blended right in with the decorative ones. And they taste just as good as they look! My daughter was so crazy happy with the cupcakes. She has been pointing it out as one of the best parts of the party. She even snuck inside to put aside a few just for herself to make sure she could enjoy them later when she was less busy. <3 I could not be happier with how everything turned out. The ladies at Craig's Cake Shop are beyond wonderful and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Oh! Lastly, I picked up the cupcakes during one of the fun summer storms we've been getting. I was worried about getting them home safely, but they were very secure and safe in their packaging. :)
We had Craig's design our wedding cake for our wedding on 5/16 and the process was very easy. Elisa wears many hats and she was always friendly and helpful with us deciding on what we may want to do with the cake. The cake turned out just as we wanted and was delicious! Even better, we get an anniversary cake, which we are excited for. Highly recommend them for weddings or any custom cake. Thank you from Matt and Katie!
We had Craig's Cake Shop do the desserts for our wedding and everything was so delicious! We got cream puffs, cupcakes (strawberry, lemon, and chocolate), and our cutting cake (carrot cake), and people are still talking about how good it all was. One of our favorite details was that we had them decorate our cutting cake with little versions of our cats, which was such a fun and personal touch. We can’t wait to go back for our anniversary cake next year. Highly recommend them if you want desserts that are both super tasty and super cute!

I want to let you know the cake for Matt and Katie’s wedding on Saturday May 16th was everything and more that they wanted. The cake looked just like the picture and the layers were moist and yummy. A lot in my family love frosting and it was some of the best that we all had ever had. They were on time and set it all up beautifully. I did have one concern and when I spoke with Elisa the owner she listened and was patient, and explained things to me without getting upset. I am very impressed with her professionalism and respect she showed all of us throughout the planning process. The kids get a cake for their first wedding anniversary and they are looking forward to that yummy cake. Thank you for everything, I will share my positive experience with all of my acquaintances.
We had Craig's Cakes do our wedding cake and desserts and wouldn't change a thing! The tasting option was great- we got to pick up plates, taste on our own time, then schedule a call. Elisa was helpful throughout this whole process. There were a few times during the busy season where I had to follow up and it took a little bit of time to get our contract, but they squeezed us in only a few months before. People are still talking about our cake- the wedding cake was their Neapolitan with buttercream frosting. We added cupcakes for ease (chocolate espresso with chocolate mousse, vanilla with buttercream (gluten free), and vanilla with raspberry jam. They were all wonderful. We ordered over what we expected and had a ton of leftovers to enjoy the week after. As part of our package, delivery was included (downtown Madison), and they showed up timely and set things up beautifully. We even get a mini version of our wedding cake on our one-year anniversary. Friends and family are still talking about the cake and we think about it regularly. It was recommended to us by a local who only uses Craig's Cakes for their family events- look no further!
Craig’s Cakes catered dessert for our wedding and did a phenomenal job! They were great to work with from the initial tasting to the delivery/set up of our dessert table! We got a cutting cake, 4 flavors of cupcakes, and (what I was most excited about) a groom’s cake! My husband has a pet tortoise he adores and I wanted to surprise him by incorporating him into a cake and Elisa and her team blew our minds with the end result! It looked and tasted better than I could have imagined! I will definitely be using them for any future cake needs and am already looking forward to our first anniversary cake!
We got our wedding cake done at Craigs', and we loved it! They worked with us to get exactly the cake we wanted. It was amazingly delicious!!! And it fit our theme and colors perfectly. We will absolutely be back!
